<Charge steps>
* Connect 12VDC power to the INPUT DC-JACK(Red:+ Black-)
* Connect Lithium Polymer battery to the “OUTPUT” terminal(Red+ Black-)
* If you have SM510(TP205(V) or TP210V),
Please connect data cable both-end between
SM 2700Li data port to balancer as shown picture-2.
* Select amount of charge current rate.
* Select cell count.
* Press “Start/Stop” button.
* The charge yellow LED begins flashing.
* When the Full LED (Green) is solid ON, charge is completed
* 니카드/니켈 수소 충전기 사용시 위험사항.
니카드나 니켈수소 배터리 충전시 △Peak V를 감지하여 충전 Cell수와 관계없이
충전이 가능하나 리튬 폴리머는 △Peak V가 없고 Cell당 전압을 정하고 충전
하는 방식입니다.
리튬 폴리머 배터리는 △Peak를 찾을수가 없어 셀당 충전전압인 4.2V를 넘어
과충전을 하게 되므로 배터리에 치명적인 손상을 줍니다.
일반 휴대폰등 저 전류로 사용기기는 배터리에 보호회로인 PCM을 사용하여
충전중의 실수를 방지함.
그러나 RC기기에 리튬 배터리 보호회로인 PCM을 사용시 충전은 보호 할수 있으나
일반적으로 판매하는 저 전류의 배터리는 PCM의 방전시 3A이하로 설정이 되어
사용이 불가능.
3A 이상은 생산이 가능 하나 가격이 비싸 특수 용도로만 사용된다.
3A 이상 사용하여 PCM이 동작할경우 전원이 차단 되어 수신기및 서보등 작동이
불가능하므로 위험합니다.
PCM은 과전류 방전이나 저 전압 이하에서 동작후 일정 전압이상으로 올라가면
자동으로 복귀가 되는 PCM이 있으며 과방전/저 전압에서 동작후 전압이 차단되면
배터리 단자에 충전기의 전압이 들어가야 PCM의 회로가 복귀되는 사용이 가능한
PCM이 있습니다.
CC-Charge: Constant Current charge
CV-Charge: Constant Voltage charge
The “Full LED” should be solid ON and beep alters 6 times in a minute for 5 minutes when
charge is completed.
Note1: To activate the over charge safety function while charging, please connect
DL-250A data cable to TP205 or TP210(SM510) balancer.
(Charge will interrupt if any cell in a pack voltage reaches to 4.3V).
Note2: Charge will refuse over discharged pack under 3.2V/cell.
<System Error message>
Error message 1: When yellow and green LED flashes with audio alter
* Check input power voltage (11V-15
charge to maximum charge rate). We recommend PB battery or pure DC power source.
* Loose
* Timeout auto-cell detection(Make sure check Li-poly pack voltage and charge again)
When over discharged pack connected this will happen.
Please check pack cell counts if correct try charge again. (Auto cell count time limited to 5minutes)
Error Message 2: CC LED and CV LED flashes and 1 second period audio alter.
This happens when the pack voltage suspected danger voltage zone.
Please check cell count is correct. If cell count is correct, press “Start” button for 2-3 seconds to
continue to charge. Please carefully monitor the charge statuses.
<Important safe precautions>
* Do not charge in a vehicle
* Use Auto-vehicle 12VDC battery for input power source.
* Do not charge in direct sun light
* Do not charge when ambient temperature is extremely high.
* Do not select more than 1C current rate (eg: if battery is labeled 1300mAh do not charge higher
than 1.3A)
* Use and store the charger in a dry environment.
* Charge in an isolated area away from flammables
* Do not attempt to charge when Li-poly battery pack is hot.
* Do not use Auto-mobile battery charger for the input power source.
