Most recent push type clutch sets use centrifugal shoes to push clutch shoe mount & clutch shoe based on centrifugal force. Normally, 3 or 4 centrifugal shoes used (depends on different brands) & these shoes work individually to push the clutch shoe mount. As there are only 3 or 4 pins used to separate centrifugal shoes, these shoes may move in different directions. The power delivery & shoe wearing can become bad because of this non-simultaneous timing. To completely solve this problem, K Factory designers develop a clutch shoe mount with guided grooves below to guide centrifugal shoes. With the guided grooves, centrifugal shoes can always push the mount at the same time & same direction. Less slippery & more direct power delivery can be achieved with this new design.

1. Lightweight Alum. flywheel
   

   Hard coated lightweight flywheel

   To have less rotating mess, the flywheel diameter is still small & adequate. Three balanced holes are drilled to reduce some weights. Aluminum material also helps to keep the overall weight as light as possible. Less rotating mess always means faster acceleration. Hard-coated treatment can stand long time starting process & also provide a smooth slideway for flyweights. In addition, special tools are used to install 3 pins to make sure they are mounted firmly & vertically to the mount.

    

    

2. Special centrifugal shoes
   

   Weighted centrifugal shoe

   To have a better "punch" power, weighted centrifugal shoes are used. Two "very heavy" posts are installed on each centrifugal shoe, totally 6pcs used. They help to push harder & achieve better acceleration. Long lasting material is used to produce these shoes to stand long time usage. The performance can be the same during the whole race. As they are precisely machined, they can engage simultaneously & perfectly in the sliding grooves.

    

3. New generation clutch shoe
   

   Clutch shoe with new features

   Clutch shoe is one of the key points of the overall clutch performance. UFO clutch shoe isn't only designed to have large contact area with clutch housing, but also precisely chamfered to work with clutch housing. The clutch shoe material gets a good balanced between long lasting & good friction coefficient. It can work the same way in the whole race. No fading problem. Engine power can be 100% transferred to the car without any problem.
   
   
   

    

4. Easy gear remove design
   

   Gear remove design

   On the UFO clutch housing, you can find 6 special holes. These holes are specially designed to work with Team Magic gear remove tool. Normally, pinion gears or clutch housing get damaged when you try to remove them. Now, Team Magic comes up with a new idea to remove pinion gears. The clutch housing & pinion gear are hold by mounts, instead of traditional wrenches. The tool is very handy & protects the clutch housing/gears from damaged.

    

5. More better parts used
   

   Clutch nut with thread lock

   To make the UFO clutch set the best in the market, many good parts are included. For example, K Factory adds thread lock on the clutch nut to make sure that spring tension can be the same during the race. Small idea, but works perfectly. To work with latest powerful engine & new UFO design, hard red spring is included to get the best performance from the clutch set. For reliability, high grade bearings & thrust bearings are used. They are expensive, but smooth & reliable. As UFO clutch set is good to work with all powerful engines of different brands, several size shims are included to fit with different crankshaft lengths.
